So as I previously shared, I found a great deal at the Glebe garage sale. For 1 dollar, I found the perfect lamp.

So to give it a little lift, because it’s probably from the 70′s, I firstly took it a part and washed all the pieces in equal parts vinegar and water. This will clean off all the grunge that is accumulated and really stuck on there.

After taking it apart, I layed all the piece on garbage bags in the kitchen, and proceeded to spray every thing white.

It was quick and painless. And before I knew it, it was hung back up where that old grungy paper lantern used to hang.
